Our story

Built by Teachers, for Families

Primary Pinnacle was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves expert teaching in a small, supportive group — not a crowded classroom or an isolated one-to-one session.

Background

How it started

Primary Pinnacle grew out of Mrs Ladak's years of classroom experience and a frustration with the gap between what children needed and what the standard school day could provide. Mrs Ladak saw first-hand how children who struggled with phonics, oracy, or maths weren't failing — they simply needed more time, more encouragement, and a different approach.

It started with a single group session and a handful of families who trusted us. Word spread quickly. Parents told other parents. Children who had dreaded reading began to love it. Children who froze when asked to speak in class started putting their hands up.

Today, Mrs Ladak delivers specialist sessions across phonics and reading, oracy, maths, and writing from the Primary Pinnacle classroom in Hatch End, Pinner — each one designed from the ground up to build genuine confidence and lasting capability.

Mrs Ladak

Founder & Lead Tutor

I have been tutoring since 2012 and teaching as a qualified teacher in local schools since 2016. My degree in English Language and Linguistics gave me a strong foundation for teaching reading, phonics, and supporting speech and language development — and my postgraduate in Primary Education deepened that into a full understanding of how children learn.

Two years ago I completed a national qualification in senior leadership, and I currently hold the roles of head of year, subject leader, and classroom teacher within a high-achieving primary school in Harrow. That active school role shapes everything I do at Primary Pinnacle — I understand what schools expect, where children are assessed, and exactly what it takes to help a child meet or exceed the expected standard for their age.

All primary sessions are delivered by me, Mrs Ladak, from the Primary Pinnacle classroom in Hatch End, Pinner. My goal is to expand what Primary Pinnacle can offer — bringing in specialist tutors in secondary subjects so we can support learners all the way through to A-Level. Sessions are also available as home tuition or virtually for families who need flexibility — just get in touch to discuss.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, which is registered on the DBS Update Service and remains current. I know that inviting someone new into your child's learning is a significant decision, and I want every family to feel completely at ease. That is why I offer a free five-minute introduction — parents and children are welcome to come and meet me in person before the first session begins, with no obligation whatsoever.

How we teach

Our teaching philosophy

We don't believe in drilling children until they comply. We believe in building understanding — and then letting confidence follow naturally.

Small groups, big impact

We cap every session at six children. That means every child is seen, heard, and challenged at the right level — every single week.

Specialist expertise

Primary sessions are designed and delivered by Mrs Ladak, a qualified teacher and senior leader with over a decade of tutoring experience. Deep subject knowledge means children get teaching that is precise, purposeful, and effective.

Confidence first

We measure success not just in test scores but in the moment a child stops saying 'I can't' and starts saying 'let me try'. That shift is what we're here for.

Partnership with parents

We keep parents informed and involved. After every half-term block, families receive a short progress note so you always know how your child is getting on.

Your child's safety comes first

Mrs Ladak holds an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service. Parents are warmly invited to a free five-minute introduction — come and meet Mrs Ladak with your child before the first session, with no obligation. We want every family to feel completely confident before they commit to anything.
